What is Move On When Ready?

Move On When Ready is Georgia’s new dual enrollment program that allows high school students (9th – 12th grade) to earn college credit while working on their high school diploma. Move On When Ready replaces Accel, HOPE Grant for dual enrollment and the previous Move On When Ready program. The new Move On When Ready program now covers tuition, mandatory fees and required textbooks.

Qualifications for Admission to the MOWR program

Dalton High School Criteria - requires student and parent meeting with high school counselor to review eligibility and to complete MOWR agreement prior to participation.

Dalton State College and Georgia Northwestern Technical College have their own requirements for admission to their MOWR programs. See your school counselor for details.

How Does the College Get Money to Cover My Tuition/Fees?

ONLINE ACCEL APPLICATION (REQUIRED FOR EACH STUDENT - MUST BE COMPLETED EACH SEMESTER TO PAY FOR COLLEGE CLASSES/FEES)
