Early Childhood Education
The Early Childhood Education Pathway is a 3 year pathway that offers 3 years of hands on experience in the Early Childhood field. Students in this pathway become proficient in writing and executing lesson plans while teaching preschool children based on State standard requirements in our preschool lab. Students also learn about the various stages of development in children from birth to adolescents, and many other skills to equip them for a career working with children.
Early Childhood Pathway courses require an application process for participation in any course. The application process allows better placement of students to meet their career goals and pathway selection.
The Pathway courses consist of:
Early Childhood Education I, II, and III
Students participating in Early Childhood are invited to participate in the student organization FCCLA.
