Dalton High School is rooted in tradition, but is always looking to provide new opportunities for our students. Through rigorous academics, competitive athletics, outstanding fine arts, and comprehensive career and technical education programs, DHS strives to help students develop their talents and prepare for their future in post-secondary education or the work force.

Dalton High School currently serves approximately 2000 full and part-time students. Students complete rigorous course requirements that meet or exceed state requirements for graduation. DHS has a full slate of challenging academic coursework including Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate. All students are given the opportunity to succeed and the resources to meet all of their academic needs, including individual laptop computers.
