The Creative Discovery Museum came to Westwood to provide engaging, hands-on lessons for our students across grade levels. They had so much fun while learning in interactive and exciting ways! Lessons aligned with standards and included topics like rocks and minerals, colors and artistic expression, light and sound, invertebrates, and fossils. Students even experienced the Star Lab, where they felt like they were in space! 🌎 A big thank you to Westwood PTO for making this amazing learning opportunity possible for our students! ❤️🐾

A special thank you to Spencer and Bridget from Floating Tree Company, along with Allison from DPRD, for coming out to help our students build flower beds, shovel dirt, and plant a variety of plants. We truly appreciate their support and dedication to providing meaningful, real world learning experiences for our students!

All of this was made possible thanks to a grant secured by Allison Mitchell from DPRD through the Northwest GA Community Foundation for Westwood.
