Beginning January 6, personal cell phones, smart watches, and other personal devices will not be permitted during the school day under the Georgia Distraction-Free Education Act. Since our schools do not have a place to store devices, please be sure students leave them at home or in the student’s book bag.

We appreciate all that our staff does every day, and this was a small way to say thank you and spread some holiday cheer! ♥️🎄🐾

They mailed Christmas cards to parents, wrote letters to Santa, and delivered candy bags and cards to our wonderful staff at the 101 building. Such a joyful way to share kindness this season! ♥️🐾

Today, the DHS Basketball Boys and their coaches visited our school to read to our Wildcats! Our students had so much fun listening to the stories, playing basketball with them in PE, and enjoying their company during lunch.

Our 5th grade DLI classes had a wonderful time meeting with their Pre-K buddies this week! Together, they made reindeer necklaces and enjoyed spending time creating and learning side by side. ♥️🎄🦌

Our C3 students put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work this week during the Odyssey of the Mind C3 Competition! Odyssey of the Mind encourages creativity, teamwork, and real-world problem solving, and our Wildcats rose to the challenge as they tackled two instructional tasks designed to stretch their thinking in new ways.

Our Wildcats had a great time at our Christmas lunch today! They enjoyed a yummy meal with their friends in a decorated cafeteria while listening to holiday music.
Each student also received a Christmas card and a candy cane at the end. It was a fun and festive day for everyone! ♥️🎄🐾

Our Wildcats had a blast bringing holiday joy to the Creative Arts Guild’s Mistletoe Market on Friday! A small group of students was selected to sing alongside Roan School for this special event, and they even enjoyed a hot chocolate treat afterward.

Mrs. Torres and Mrs. Calsetta’s students had an exciting day!
They started the morning making ornaments and enjoying breakfast with their 5th grade buddies. Later, they celebrated their Publishing Party, where students proudly shared their writing projects with all the guests who attended.
The Wildcat Chorus did an amazing job performing their Christmas concert! These students have been practicing since October, and it truly showed in their fun filled, entertaining performance filled with Christmas cheer.
We are incredibly thankful for everyone who helped make this event possible and to all who came out to support our Wildcats. ♥️🐾🎄🎶
